WestLicht in Vienna loves polaroids!!!

POLAROID IMPOSSIBLE
THE WESTLICHT COLLECTION
exhibition
17.06.2011 - 21.08.2011

On Friday 17th of June an important collection of polaroids opened in Vienna.
The photo museum WestLicht is celebrating its 10th anniversary with a show on instant photography and the amazing book "From Polaroid to Impossible / Masterpieces of Instant Photography - The WestLicht Collection" has been published by Hatje Cantz for the exhibition.

Straight after the miracle accomplished by Impossible company to bring back to life the polaroid films - and the acquisition of the wide Polaroid collection by WestLicht last March - we can now celebrate with them our love for polaroids pictures in Vienna.

I am sure that the polaroid inventor Edwin Herbert Land, would be happy to see these beautiful works, more than 350 on display, by so many different international artists. Andy Warhol, Ansel Adams, Helmut Newton and Oliviero Toscani to name a few.

The exhibition will be opened for WestLicht tenth anniversary.
